"Machine Learning with Explanations"
Machine learning methods are often used to solve problems that are too difficult to solve directly. These methods can be very accurate but are traditionally treated as black boxes: the solutions are given with no explanation of how a solution was found. However, in some contexts an explanation is just as important as the solution itself. In this presentation, I will talk about machine learning methods that can explain their decisions, and the advantages and disadvantages of this approach.
