Work-related learning and associated technologies

The general objective for this research program is a better understanding of the cognitive ergonomics of learning technologies.

We hope to be able to design learning technologies that will be adapted both to a particular task to be carried out or learned, as well as to the cognitive capacities of the humans carrying out the task.  To this end, we study the mechanisms of learning, re-learning, and the development of professional skills via multi-media tools, high- and low-fidelity simulators or virtual reality environments.
